Brooke (Ash Catherwood) and Alice (Melanie Kastner) are living the good life. They live together, they hang out together, go in late together, take long lunches, duck out early together; coasting through life between trivia nights and Mario Kart. Their cube-farm partner in crime is Reggie, a geeky but loveable third wheel with an unusual fondness for public speaking. Alice and Brooke should have been doing has been taken up by Kate “Cake” MacIntosh, who has also become increasingly trapped by her role as the supplier of daily cakes… birthday cakes, retirement cakes, get well soon cakes, welcome back cakes… Up until today. Today, only days away from a major client presentation her team is responsible for, Cake has had enough.

It’s do or die time and Contectrixx’s boss, Roxanne (she of the one semester abroad in London), knows that someone’s got to take the reins and deliver a W on the presentation. And she turns to Brooke. Suddenly the biggest slacker in the office holds the future of the company in his reluctant hands. Sure, now he’s got the authority to deal with the Captain, but to Alice, Brooke is now The Man. And she don’t like it. To make matters worse, Brooke realizes why Cake was so stressed… the work on the Martin-Wells presentation hasn’t been started yet! Desperate, Brooke calls upon Reggie’s dubious but heartfelt public speaking skills for one last Hail Mary play.
