Production Sponsor and Corporate Assistance

Team Leader found fantastic support from the Toronto Film community. Lighting equipment was donated by William F. Whites, camera kit from Tellevision and extras from Panavision. All of whom showed total faith in the production team lead by Chris Forrest and Guy Godfree.

The Team Leader production made every accommodation for its talent, including vegetarian meals and dairy free meals. We couldn’t have done it without the support of Magical Catering.

And of course most important of all, Radke supplied the space used as the set for the office.

Pubstumpers Trivia League and The Duke of York

The Bar scene in Episode 7 was a particular challenge for the production. Lots of extras, expensive location, food and drinks for set dressing. This was achieved by a unique relationship with Pubstumpers Trivia League. The scene already centered around bar trivia and was a perfect fit for sponsorship.

If you haven’t been to a Pubstumpers Trivia League night yet, check around in your area there is likely a bar supporting a night. Its the next Karaoke.

In Toronto there a many bars where you can play Pubstumpers Trivia League, but one of the first was The Duke of York. Every Tuesday night Luke Pettigrew from the Team Leader cast is the Quiz Master just like in the show. He also served us and in the bar later for the cast party. In the end may be the highest paid member of the case and crew, but its hard to tell because we had had a few drinks by then.

This unique partnership is a clear example of how product placement and original production can come together to create something that is natural, informative and engaging.
