A partnership between Scott Albert and Christopher Guest, GopherX.net is a pioneer in the emerging field of multi-platform content creation and distribution. Focusing on short-form comedy, GopherX.net already has 3 successful series that can be seen online and on broadcast, with plans to expand into mobile in 2009. They have formed strategic partnerships with key players in their field, including Movieola: the short film channel, Revver and TubeMogul.
What makes GopherX.net unique among content creators is its integration of production, distribution, promotion and community creation. Guest and Albert have been creating comedy series designed for multi-platform distribution since 2003. They formed GopherX.net in mid 2007 to apply what they had learned, and have since gained almost 300,000 user interactions across their content network. By the end of 2008 their network will include 300 episodes, approaching approximately 15 hours of videos.
Team Leader is their third original series.
The company has been featured in Playback Magazine, The Dot Com Dish, and a winner of multiple awards on YouTube, including Most Viewed (Comedy, Canada) and Highest Rated (Comedy, Canada).
