Scott Albert is a comedian, script-writer, novelist and a producer in the emerging industry of multi-platform production. Working with Christopher Guest, he is currently writing and producing multi-platform series for their company, GopherX.net. These series are available online, for mobile, and on broadcast (on Movieola - the Short Film Channel).
He is a much sought after writer for children’s animation, writing for such shows as Captain Flamingo, Gerald McBoing Boing, and The Monster Buster Club. He conceived and wrote all of the online webisodes for The Monster Buster Club. He also writes for live action series, including the internationally popular The Red Green Show. He has been a writer and member of many sketch comedy troupes, most notably the series of very much clothed “All Nude Revues.” His novel, “Below the Line,” was published in 2002 and was nominated for a Re-Lit Award. He co-wrote an animated short film, Jake Moxie, which was nominated for Best Animation at the Golden Sheaf Awards.
He was recently in Newfoundland as the Executive Story Editor in charge of the writing of Mickey, a 26 x 11 minute, live action pre-school series for Best Boy Productions and the Pet Network.
He is currently working on new multi-platform series, as well as creating broadcast television series, writing more children’s animation, and a second novel.
